Photo Monday 6

Because who doesn't love a cute photo of a little kid being "Picky!" LOL

My kids do so many things like this that make me giggle. Such as my youngest. He knows he should be asleep right now. But he is climbing all over me and my bed as I sit here and type this. He giggles and flops down and pretends to be going to sleep. Kids are just adorable!

Photo Monday 5

Back on track... I hope...

Know these guys?
No? These would be the 2 main characters of the Disney/Pixar Movie Up!
This is a super cute movie and my kiddos have all enjoyed it many times!

See above photo?
They are REAL?!?!? LOL
When I found this photo I had hopes of them making a live action flick with these two.
I think I am out of luck!
Also, just thought it was neat!

Hope you all enjoyed it!

Catching up with the Mama!

So far January has been a pretty busy time for my little family! Thanks to my Hubby I now have my new Wedding Ring! (A late-ish Christmas gift!) It is completely different from our previous matching set! And I hope to be getting his picked up for him, within the next month or so. The kiddos and I have been flying through school so far. They are about a month ahead with the latest projected end date at June 5th! At the rate they have been going, school (as far as their home classes go) will most likely be finished in the first part of May with them only having to make their contacts! Yippee!!!

The first photo in this blog shows some of the fun that we had on Friday! My husband and I had talked about getting family photos done to send out to family and friends (not to mention some very not so subtle comments from family members) around Spring time. Well, we could afford it and we had the time to do it! So we did! I also wanted to get some other photos done! The photo above I had stuck in my head for a very long time! I am so glad it turned out the way it did. I love being friends with my photographer! I can tell her my own ideas and she gets it right away! I have had photographers who did not understand my personal vision and I was nowhere near happy with the photos. I am super happy with these ones though. White shirts, blue jeans, no socks or shoes and all my boys together! Perfect! And they gave me their "Santa smiles" too! I love that photo!

Then of course we have the Family Photo! It was difficult to get all the boys to smile and behave at once but once we reminded them that Dad had to get to work, they shaped up pretty fast! This is one of many poses that we took just to get the kiddos all smiling and looking good at once! Which actually wasn't that difficult!

Following the Family Photo and the Boys' Group photo we had Mommy and me and Daddy and me photos taken. Here they are....

Daddy and Logan.....

 Daddy and Riley....

Daddy and Tanner....

Daddy and Wyatt....

I had a lot of fun with these photos! I completely enjoyed the different backgrounds! These all have got to be some of my favorites. Sadly, we missed the picture of just my husband and I but we were a little pressed for time and I still had to order prints. It was super fun and we had a pretty good day.

After taking Dad to work we picked up a few Redbox movies! (see review post here) Then we came home to relax and watch some movies! At 10 pm I went and picked up the hubby from work and it was bed time as soon as I got home! Follow that fun filled day with car shopping the next day and you have a fun filled Friday and Saturday! And one tired Mama...

More on the car shopping in a future post!

Review: Redbox Instant By Verizon

I have mentioned before that I am a BzzAgent. This means I test items for little to no money and then give my opinion to BzzAgent's website! They go through all of their reviews and then give the feedback to the company that owns each item. The following is a review on Redbox Instant By Verizon!

I have come to find that I enjoy a lot of the features of Redbox Instant! I have been able to watch movies I had not yet seen and also ones that I have been wanting to see for a long time! I have also found movies I never even knew existed!

Even though I can not currently watch the movies on my computer (my computer does not like the player they use for some reason) I am able to watch on my phone and I love that! I also have my oldest son set up to use it on his computer and my husband as well! Here are some of the facts given to me by BzzAgent...

1. The $8/month subscription gives you the best value for your bucks: unlimited streaming + 4 DVD credits per month (1 DVD credit = 1 night rental) to use at over 40,000 Redbox locations nationwide.

2. You don’t have to be a Verizon customer to sign up for the service, but you do need high-speed internet access to use it.

3. You can weigh in on what would make Redbox Instant even better and report any service issues via the Help Center at redboxinstant.com

4. Instantly stream Hollywood mega-hits to any internet-connected device, including smartphones (iPhone and Android), tablets, computers and Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray Players.

5. The Redbox Instant by Verizon app is limited to certain devices, but is not needed to stream content.

6. You can buy and rent movies digitally without a subscription, including today’s newest releases.

7. Browse Redbox locations and reserve movies at the box of your choice using the app, too!

For $8 per month I think this is going to be worth it! Knowing us, we will only rent kid movies from the kiosk with those 4 DVD credits (the price is different for blu-ray rentals and the credits for them, $9 instead of the $8). I think we are going to be happy with what our $8 is going to get us!

The following are some of the movies I have enjoyed so far...

Wake... A movie I was unaware of ever even existing and I am glad I found it! I love Ian Somerhalder in The Vampire Diaries (he plays Sexy Vampire Damon Salvator) and I also love him without all of his Vampire Super Hotness! LOL! Great Movie! Slightly Morbid... But it is good! Ha ha!
Thor! A pretty dang good movie as well. I was on the fence about watching this one. I was not sure I wanted to and now I am happy I did! Loved it!
I found this one in the subscriptions and the main reason I watched it is for another of my beloved TVD (The Vampire Diaries) actors... Torrey Devitto! She is Dr. Fell on TVD and also married to co-star Paul Wesley, Vampire Hottie Stefan Salvator! This is a great movie about friendship! Has some pretty funny moments!
Another one I happened to stumble upon. I am also a huge Anna Paquin fan! Her put together with Josh Duhamel and Katie Holmes made this a pretty good flick. Sort of slow at times and different, but it is a good movie as well! I have not found one I didn't truly like yet. Some I couldn't get behind, but not ones I didn't like!

I believe that is it for my review here! This is in Beta testing still so you must have the invite codes to use it. However, once it is out there and going I hope a lot of people take advantage of this awesome website and app! I will be!

Review: Post Alpha-bits Cereal

I have mentioned before that I am a BzzAgent. This means I test items for little to no money and then give my opinion to BzzAgent's website! They go through all of their reviews and then give the feedback to the company that owns each item. The following is a review on Post Alpha-Bit Cereal.

While this cereal looks like your typical "sugary" cereal it is full of all the goodness that we, as parents, want our little ones full of! Unlike other cereals of this variety, this one does not taste like cardboard! My boys were more than willing to dive right in and munch on this cereal. They each had a bowl or two with milk included as well as munching on the cereal all by itself! They were extra excited to have a box a cereal that was sponsored by Super Why! My 4 year loves that show and the other 2 older boys have been known to enjoy it as well! The minute the box was empty they cut out the Super Why! mask and had a ball playing! (Sadly, I did not get a photo snapped of that one!) I do believe that Alpha-Bits will be finding it's way into our cereal cupboard a lot!

Here are a couple photos of my boys with their Alpha-Bits Cereal! (ignore the Kellogg's bowls! LOL)

That is it for now! I hope that everyone (who eats cereal) gets a chance to try this yummy breakfast treat!

Well, Hello 2013

Here we are... The first post of 2013...

One of my favorite photos of my baby boy!

I am a Slacker! LOL!

So far this year we have not accomplished too much! Other than deciding that we need to make Christmas 2013 be somewhere WARM! We have never taken a break from all the cold for Christmas so this year we are going to arrange with Santa to buy the whole family a vacation for the week of, after or before (undecided) Christmas 2013!!! Yippee!!! We have looked at both Disney theme parks and also Universal Studios Orlando. We have also looked at Disney Cruises and the possibility of Hawaii! There are so many options for a Christmas get away that we are really having issues picking one! One thing about Disney and Universal is that my Brother-in-law is too tall so he can not go and also my nephew (and youngest boy) will be too small! We shall see what happens! I am sure whatever we pick, there will be a Blog post about it!

Obviously we made it safely to and from my Sisters house over the Christmas break. I had a blast over there getting to visit and play games and just hang out!

When we got back I got to have fun "unChristmasing" my house! And boy-howdy did I end up packing things a little different this year! The following is My Santa Collection that I would love to someday NOT have to put away! (Probably when I am old and grey and have little grand babies...) And just for size reference, I only used the top 3rd of our fake tree this year. For the short time it was up I did not want to have to fight the baby to leave it alone. LOL! I also did not want to have to rearrange furniture!

One of my 2 new Santa's this year!
He is HUGE and I love him! LOL
He was supposed to have a star on
the top of his tree but it fell off!
He is now my LARGEST Santa!

Santa top left is my second largest Santa and is standing
a tier down from the ones he is next to LOL!

See all his Santa minions? Ha ha!

Santa center bottom here is my other new this year Santa.
He is sitting in a bathtub and sings and kicks his feet!
He is the baby's favorite of all!

They range from tree topper to figurine to plush to statue to any other variety!
I love my Santa Collection!

Some of the figurines that sat under the tree this year.
Most pictured here are what my boys gave me last year for Christmas (2011)

Even MORE set back behind the tree!

I was also given this flat Santa Head this year!

More figurines....
And my oldest in his 1st ever photo with Santa!
Also, the front and center Santa here is actually my Husbands!

The entire Collection with the tree!

My tree and card holder!
The holder says "We love Santa Be <3 Claus"
My sister gave me the holder a few years ago.
It was filled with a lot of new cards from family and friends this year!
Thank you again November Mamas!

You can somewhat see the ornaments I made this year on my tree as well! This was one of the many projects we had going on this year! This set I made as a "test" set to make sure I was going to be able to make them for my Sister and Brother-in-law and for my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law! I found these neat clear ornaments that had removable tops at WalMart and they were meant to be stuffed with confetti and other stuff but what I did was slightly different!

I took the most recent photos of the boys and cut out their silhouette (all but the baby because I had tiny photos of him). I then placed the photo inside the clear ornament and then I stuffed it full of wired garland! Once I felt it had enough in there I cut the amount that was stuffed inside free of the rest of the strand and placed the top back on it. After that I tied an ornament hook to the top with ribbon! Here are the close up photos of the ones I kept. The sets for my family members I had help making from my 7 year old. He did the garland stuffing and handed me the ribbons and held them up when needed! It was fun!

The oldest!
In his photo it was zoomed in to "adjust" the photo!
This caused the only part of him to fit to be his head!
I LOVE it!

My 7 year old!
So adorable! When holding this ornament in your hand,
it almost looks like he is leaning out of the ornament.
His photo has a definite 3D effect!
Plus I love that he is pinching his chin skin! LOL

My little trooper! 4 year old!
We got more of him in this one than his 2 older brothers!
I Loved cutting out these photos! So neat looking in the end!
And look, my ONLY glass ornament next to him! LOL

The sweet baby!
It is hard to see his photo but the ornament turned out pretty cute!
In my opinion! LOL
Those ornaments were super easy to do and they only cost about $2 for just the garland and the ornament itself. garland was at the Dollar Tree and the ornaments at Walmart for $1 each!

I think that is all for now! I will do my best to get back here soon to post more about our holidays and other happenings! Yippee!!!! Take care!!!
