Photo Monday Slacker Catch Up!

Sorry everyone...

I know I have missed a few weeks of Photo Monday... So here are a few photos for your pupils to enjoy!

All "Artsy/Craftsy" stuff and then a funny.....

I did not come up with any of these neat crafts on my own... They are not my own creations... Just sharing them for fun summer ideas!

Home made paint!

1 cup flour

1 cup salt

1 cup water

whatever color of food coloring you want....

BAM! Paint!

This one, I actually do not have instructions for (bad me!) But I think I want to try it.... It is pretty and looks SUPER fun! I think I can do it! We might see!!!! He he....

Stacked flower pots??!! Awesome!

This one, pretty self explanatory.... But....

1 LARGE pot

6 smaller pots

spray paint (color of choice)

Spray paint all pots the desired color!

Get a rod that is the height you want your finished project to be,

place it in the center of the bottom LARGE pot,

Slide the next pot on, repeat.

Place a bird bath bowl on the top and wah-la!

(Note: the instructions I read, I do not have them now, did not say how the bird bath would stay there. If anyone knows then PLEASE share the information! Thanks!)

Here we are Sunday night and I am a little ahead of the game... So! By just about 45 minutes early... Here is Photo Monday! LOL.....

I do believe I will try this out!

It has been getting warmer and the kiddos will enjoy this one....

My cousin had the great idea to use the ice cube tray that was designed to make the ice cubes that go in water bottles and I think that is brilliant! I may try both ways!

My Boys' Bean!

When we first started home school we were told that there was going to be outings with the other kids that go to the same school in our area!

The first outing was a meet and greet type thing. This is where my 1st grader met his teacher for the first time in person and the boys got to play with the kids their age and with the older kids.

They had different activities and one of those was to learn how to plant a bean! They had little pots and soil and beans. Each of my boys made one. They were forgotten and left outside when we got home and it wasn't until about a week or so later that I brought them in. I combined all the dirt with the one that had a sprout so that it then became every one's and not just one person's plant was growing. After a week of just sitting there it took off! And this is the result now several months later. I would also like to add that this part of the plant has creeped up the side of our avocado tree and is into the upper pane of the window. It is very tall! Plants are awesome! I hope I can get more to grow this year!

My copy of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 (WITH the extended version of Part 1! Ha ha!) shipped today! So excited! 

I saw it in the theater with my Mom but I want to see it again!

Plus, that photo is really pretty! LOL

My kids do so many things like this that make me giggle. Such as my youngest. He knows he should be asleep right now. But he is climbing all over me and my bed as I sit here and type this. He giggles and flops down and pretends to be going to sleep. Kids are just adorable!

This is a super cute movie and my kiddos have all enjoyed it many times!

When I found this photo I had hopes of them making a live action flick with these two.
I think I am out of luck!
Also, just thought it was neat!

(Late) Photo Monday 4

Sorry this is late! 

As of last Saturday I got extra busy and lost all track of time!

On Saturday, After taking the dog and husband to their "resorts" and the husband only checking in, we took the kiddos to see Santa and have them ask him for things they could not have possibly gotten in time! LOL

To date this is the BEST photo of all 4 of my kiddos together! The baby did not cry as much as I had expected! For it being only 4 days before Christmas I am surprised Santa didn't get the "Just Surprise Me!" quote from my boys! I had forewarned them that Santa was already to the step of double checking his list to make sure he had all the gifts finished and ready to go on Christmas morning! Santa is not a procrastinator! Not by any means! LOL!

They had fun playing with the toys and then getting to see Santa! They loved him! It was a great day and when we left Santa land it was SNOWING!

Fun was had!
